    this cormie was a star yesterday at anhinga trail. posed for us for a while!!

    D300, 300mm at f/5.6, 1/400s, ISO 640. flash fill set at -1.3EV. post processing included a little crop off the top, adding some contrast and lightening the eye a little. standard sharpening.

    i totally hated the last one. reworked the bg up top to tone it down so it doesnt take your eye away from the bird as much.

    Bottom does look good Harold !!! Excellent post and feel !! Difficult to come up with a new cormi look but you just did !!! Big Congrats !!!

    Love the positioning of the bird, and how you've cropped this image. The pose of the bird makes this interesting.

    Hi Harold, love the pose and the eye is fantastic, the oof beak bothers me a little (imho) great image.

    I also think the second one is better. I personally would prefer a tad more contrast.
