This is a butterfly lat was hovering with its wings flapping fast, I liked the blurred motion and tries a frack with glo-50 C&C very welcome

Myer, This is a very nice first try at Fractalius. I see the Butterfly but would like for it to stand out a bit more from the BG. Are you working w/ photoshop cs3 or 4? If so you could add a layer mask and try to mask back in the mushroom? or whatever it is in the center, I think that it will help the BF stand out. Nice colors.:)

I am working in PS CS4 and am a beginner. I would appreciate any help to learn to add a layer mask to bring out the BF

Hi Myer, I would recommend you getting the APTATS II available at https://store.birdsasart.com/shop/ca....aspx?catid=33

First open your image in cs4 then make a copy >ctrl J (for windows)
then go to your layer palette and add a mask. (this will be the rectangle w/ the circle in the middle)
that will add a white box next to the image on your duplicate layer.
then you can select the brush tool (set to soft or zero hardness)and using black.
then start to brush over the image - you will be revealing some of the original image.
