A black mamba on a thurnbush in the rain. Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Deception Valley, Botswana.
The black mamba (dendroaspis polylepis) is a snake to be afraid of. It is one of the deadliest snakes in the world and on top of that it is highly aggressive and can attack without any provocation, it is very fast and is also the largest venomous snake in Afrika! Glad I made this shot from my car:D.
