    Mital:

Lovely colors, nice exposure, love the bird joining the reflection at the water line.

Would prefer without the mudflat in background. Perhaps there is another shooting vantage point?

    Cheers

    Randy

Beautiful composition and technique. The water ripple from the bird's bill reinforces the horizontal lines in the composition. The mudflat in the BG works for me, as I have a bias for placement of the bird in its habitat.

Color, comp. and detail are all beautiful. I might try it as a pano crop as well , but wonderful as it is.

Great serene mood and colors. Agree with Randy about the mudflat,
but OK as is too. I have the feeling that it needs just a bit of CCW rotation?
    Good one.

Another one of those "mud flat in the BG" images:D. I much prefer this one though, mainly because of the bird's relaxed feeding pose, and of the warmer WB. I do wish for a catchlight or reflection in the eye.

thanks daniel. as said before this is the image from same location and same time. and it was really impossible to move from where i was lying down on grass on the edge of that water body. the reason is this birds are really shy at the location and dont allow such close and at that day they came so close to me un-aware of my presence due to the time i spent to wait there lying down camo. :)

will soon try a new attempt and see if i can grab some more of the suggested images. thanks a lot for suggesting and keep on suggesting please.

Good low angle, and I like the feeding pose. Good to see the reflection, and just love the soft light and colours.
