    Default Elephants Drinking at Okakeujo

Hi everyone, here's another image from our trip to Etosha National Park in Namibia 2 summers ago. It was great to have elephants drinking close up at the waterhole at Okakuejo. The light was very low by the time they got there, hence the techs shown below. This is almost full frame, I took a small slice off the right. Thanks for any comments or suggestions

Lovely front on view of mum and family with the dripping water enhancing here, agree with Harshad on some contrast boost.

Well done a photo of Etosha without noticeable harsh light, a real rarity.
What time did you take this as usually the sun sets behind the waterhole.

Thanks for the comments, I already bumped the contrast a fair bit, it was just a really low contrast scene and with that iso I didn't want to introduce too much noise.

Ken, this was taken at dusk, right about the time the sun had gone down.

Mum certainly has her eye on you, and good to see the kids drinking. Great family moment Nate.

    Hi Nate,
Love the position of the three. Shows how they protect their young. The rocks in the BG give a sense of coming down to the water's edge. Maybe a tiny bit more contrast (personal taste) but this looks accurate for the conditions you describe.
