    Default Anna's Hummingbird feeding young

There is an at least locally famous and often photographed female Anna's Hummingbird who's feeding two young ones. They left their nest a little bit more than a week ago. And the little trooper is already building another nest...

They are all in some bushes and trees right next to a path and relatively in the open. The challenge is to get a nice background...

    Hope you enjoy. JR

Oh, this one is precious. The jewel colors of the birds, the background, and the interaction all make this a fabulous shot. If I had to find one teeny niggle, I might like a tad more room on the left, but it's beautiful just as it is.
