I use fractalius for its ability to create sharp lines. Always use the settings of sharpness; 100/line width; 00 for both instances. The other sliders vary from one image to the next to create the sharp lines I'm looking for. Use a base image, then create a frax converted image. With each image converted to a layer, with frax on top of the base image, I usually adjust opacity to 50%, and adjust saturation and brightness of lower layer( base). comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Lovely interpretation, Bill. Really delightful. I love the clean lines. The raised back feathers look like the Syndey Opera House:) Thanks for the advie on sharpness settings. KB
Bill you are truly a master of this type of image. I truly appreciate that you have shared youe techniques with us. If there were a favicon for bowing down, I would use it here.
Appreciate the comments! It does look like the Sidney Opera house sort of, Kora. Leave it to an Aussie to come up with that one! Thanks Dave, I'm glad you like it. regards~Bill
