Beautiful setting with perfect sharpness and OOF characteristics of the background.

Blues on the wing look a tad over saturated / hot and perhaps the whites on the belly could be toned down just a little?

Composition wise, I might have tried the bird a bit lower in the frame as it appears to my eyes as though it's a bit to high overall?

Perfect techs as always. Beautiful light and colours. Won't change the composition.

Hi Allen, Wonderful perch and details on the Bluebird, I pulled the image into PS and some of the whites on the breast were reading in the 253-254 ranges probably from the conversion to sRGB.

Hi Alan, Very nice image, as usual. I shoot a D2xs, how do you deal with the noise of the higher iso's? Love all your work.
    Thanks Craig.

I don't shoot above ISO 320 on that camera, so I don't have any noise to deal with. If I need more shutter speed, I use my D3. Thanks.

Beautiful shot, Alan! Was this a set-up, or were you lucky enough to find this perfect perch and background? The colors are stunning. I love everything about this one.

Wonderful perch and pose, and beautiful background as usual for your setups. Another handsome shot. I would leave the comp as is.

    Fantastic shot, as always!
Wonderful perch. Light, colors and BG are perfect!
I only wish this was a Mountain Bluebird as I think they are even more beautiful :-)
