This bird made a very brief appearance in the tree where I was photographing other birds near a feeder, hence the poor image. I've never seen anything like it around these parts (southeastern PA). Can someone confrm my ID or correct me? Thanks.

I think your ID is right. Do you have an image that shows the beak better?
IMO your ID is correct Chris. The bird is superficially like a thrush but note the very long tail.
To add to what others have said about this Brown Thrasher, note the bright yellow eyes, black/brown triangles on the chest which are clearly defined and reddish/brown back.
