    Great pose with a perfect glance back from the kestrel. What is the perch, a termite mound? Looks good whatever it is. Love all the earth tones, and the green wash above is nice too. Excellent comp, and I even like all the FG grasses (except the tallest one cutting across the bird).

    Hi Daniel !!
    The perch is indeed a termite mound (may be freshly being built)
    Unfortunate about the grass blade . Had to compromise because I had got the sun right behind me (u can make out from the catch light on the eye ) , so was not able to re-position myself .

    I would have moved one step to your left. Probably still good sun angle, just to clear that tall blade.
    Beautiful BG, sharpness and EXP.

    Other then the blade of grass this is one very nice image, beautiful tones and detail on the kestrel with a wonderful BG.
