I've been working on head angle and I think this is a good capture.

    Rich:

Yes, nice head angle. The foot position is fun too. Like the slight curve to the trunk.

I think the image can go a bit brighter, the whites are a bit dingy to my eyes. I checked in in curves, and had to pull the right slider in to 234 before I got any clipping, so consider giving that a try.

I also might try a version with the thin twigs cloned out beneath the tail.

    Cheers

Like the pose, head turn & BG. Suggest you clone out the twigs under the tail.:)

I like the pose and BG. I agree the image could go a bit lighter. I would have preferred the perch not be straight up behind the Ibis, but this is what gave the image the neat foot positions. P.S. Yes, the head angle works.

I like the feet position, makes this more unique than a usual ibis pose. Nice and sharp too. I agree with comments above about lightening it, but I also think I see a bit of red cast on the whites (could be my monitor).

I've lightened the image and see no clipping on my histogram. I've struggled a bit with lightening because I'm trying not to loose detail in the white feathers. The uncalibrated display on my my MacBook Pro may be limiting the detail I can see in subtle shading differences. I cannot see any reddish cast in the whites on the image on my display. Again, this could be due to the display being uncalibrated.

Have I lightened the image too much?

I far prefer the lightness of the repost. Nice job.
