This fellow was nice enough to pose for me on Sanibel beach. I had the opportunity to tag along with Artie's post president's day IPT for two days last week. Nice group of people, lots of learning.

I worked this fellow for a while, waiting for the right combination of bird and waves.

    Advice appreciated, esp re: composition.

    Cheers

The soft light and little wave make this one for me. Head angle and composition look good, too. The only thing I might change is removing the darker spots in the upper right.

Nice image Randy, That wave looks about right for a mini surfer to be riding along :)

Hi Randy, like Axel, I like the soft light and the diagonal line of the wave as well as the pastel colors.

Pretty much agree with Axel although I think the water could use a a little contrast darkening to punch it up a bit?

I might have cropped a bit more off the bottom and just a little from the right side.

Hey Randy, you certainly timed the wave, and I like how it moves diagonally across the image. Lovely pastel colours, and overall nice and sharp.
