    Not sure about the square crop on this one. Also would you sharpen any more? Critique welcome - thanks for looking

    Hi Roy

    Excellent pose with the bird looking back and the wind moving the feathers. I like the sharpness as presented and exposure is right one. Light angle is a bit off but bird is well lit and looks good.

    Crop wise I don't mind square crops at all and just crop to taste, best possible. Here I would crop some of the perch since it is overwhelming, just leave enough for a a gase !!! ..btw gorgeous bg !!!

    Beautiful bird, and lovely bg color suits him perfectly. Sharpness and exposure look good on my screen. I don't usually go for square crops but here it seems to work very nicely.

    Square cop works for me - BG is gorgeous, Love the pose and sharpness is spot on - IMHO.
