Sorry I have not been around much lately. I have at least been able to peek in once in a while and see all the great work that has been submitted. I put this mini-world together tonight and that's about all I've had time to do for what seems like weeks. It doesn't get any better. I'll be out of town every week for the next six weeks and only home on one or two weekend days. I'm in photography withdrawal. When things settle down at work, I hope to have more time to participate here.

This was a sunset photo with a row of fence posts fading into the sunset. I thought the fence would add a depth to the mini-world and the little stream and kayak was just thrown in to add a bit more sense of depth.

Patti, We've missed you and your terrific talent. This is way cool. I love the added water stream that fades into the horizon. The center starburst and sun colors are great. Nice work blending the line. I might tone down the paddler and try to put the canoe into the water a little bit more. The BG color is very complimentary and you did a wonderful job blurring it.:)

    Nice image and application, Patti.

I like the color treatment of this one.

Thanks Mark and Denise. Agree that the boat looks like it is hovering over the water instead of being in it. I'll try to work on that.

Done. Hopefully a little bit better. I raised the water level a bit and put some water reflection on side of boat. Not sure how to make it look like it's really in the water.

Patti, I think it looks better. The round BG and the straight boat are a tough mix-but you did very well IMO.:)

Denise pretty much covered all points, for my taste, I'd like to see the canoe more leveled, I feel it's going to sink?
