    Default Snow Geese Blast Off

This was taken in late November near home. The mud is still falling from their feet as they take off. Possibly an eagle has flown over and the birds take off at a steep angle to avoid the hunters. I always wonder what to leave in and what to take off the edges. This is as shot. 50D, 500mm at f/4, 1/2000 ISO400, ec+1/2 Dave

    Dave,
Nice jumble of birds. I have a few of those myself. It is not easy to get so many in focus and not blurred, which you've done quite well.

You did a good job at getting a lot of them in focus at f/4, this would be a great picture for a puzzle....

Good control of the light and contrasts, I like the BG that gets darker, otherwise, it would be too much of the same all over the shot.

    Nicely done Dave

Very nice capture, there aren't too many gaps and the direction of the birds looks good, too. It could go a tad brighter for my taste.
