Pretty darned spectacular Gerrie! Awesome pose and a good exposure. Eye is sharp; amazing that 1/3200 doesn't freeze the wings. The bird is a little tight in the frame, and I would lighten the dark areas at the bottom of the frame.

Beautiful dorsal view, sharp where it counts. The blur in the wings could be a DOF issue rather than s/s.
Great EXP control and agree with Doug on darkening the light areas. A little more space around wouldn't hurt either. TFS.

This is very good Gerrie. Difficult one to get in flight. Great head-angle, sharpness and background.

Hi Gerrie, great banking angle, and you nailed the wingspread and fanned tail. These guys are pretty quick, so well done on just getting him in the frame. A little more space below would work. Well captured.

Nothing to add to all the good advice above. What a terrific shot!! Loved the wing spread and eye contact. Well executed. Thx for sharing.

No shadows to detract from a great shot.

Very cool banking pose, good eye contact and nice BG. Aside from toning down the whites a tad, I might try to lighten the eye a bit. Another vote for a slightly wider crop.

Thank you for viewing & commenting everyone. It is much appreciated.:)

Arthur, this was taken late afternoon. I had good light to work with and I used a beanbag to rest the lens on. He was successfull in catching dinner and this was taken after he fed and as he was departing the scene.

Beautiful male? at Mankwe? Just love the action. Cropwise I would loose the left to be in line with the caption above the frame. Wish it was mine!
