I started w/ the Impression 1 pre-set in Fractalius and played around with the controls and then rolled the dice. I have now created a custom pre-set which I have named High-Key Sketch.

Denise:
Very interesting, gives me the impression that the bird is made of paper. The high key effect really draws the eye to the bird.
Great fun.

Real nice Denise. I think this would nice printed on matte paper or canvas. I like that you maintained just enough detail to create interest. Got to start thinking of doing some high key work.
I just love the simplicity of this one. Your choice of Impression 1 really cleaned up that shell-strewn beach.

Aw come on - it's really a fancy x-ray!
Really cool and almost like an oriental ink/pen drawing - love it!
Looking forward to playing with this stuff when I have a few months down-time from our travels.

Beautiful work, Denise. If it were mine I might give the top of the head and the eye just a little bit more focus/sharpness. Everything else is dreamy...
Thanks folks I appreciate the comments.
Jules, I did add some more detail to the face area but felt it took away from the dreamy soft look I was going for. Thanks:)
I like this one a lot, Denise. :) Has a very nice soft, minimalist look to it.
Christopher, Thank you I appreciate it.
