    nice soft feel here ram. i would have clone down that white patch behind the hoopoe. may be if you tried to go more 0 level it would have added nice plain bg.

    We have these guys in our front garden. Very skittish, so you have done well here. Super low angle, and overall nice and sharp. I agree, the white in the BG conflicts with the crest and beak.

    Very nice bird captured well in the environment, agree with getting a bit lower and maybe closer for smoother BG, TFS

    Very interesting looking bird and nice shot. I would also suggest removing what looks like a bit of blue plastic just in front of bird. Well done to get so close. Dave

    VWD...agree with the above suggestions especially removing the bright streak & blue thing .
