    I like the composition, and sharpness. The MK IV did well in this challenging lighting condition.
    I would be tempted to try a slightly lighter version, even if some of the highlights will go hot, just to see how the feel changes.

    As presented, does give a sense of mystery, and probably is very realistic as to how we normally see these guys in the wild.

    I like the wing position and upward flying pose. I think it works as presented but am wondering what it would look like with exposure raised. Please post the techs, it's particularly interesting for an image like this.

    Awsome shot. I like the highlights arounf the wings but also wonder about a lighter version.

    I increased the exposure by .50 on the tiff file in CS4.
    f/8 at 1/1250, ISO 400, spot meter

    I like the repost even better and would only remove the blueish cast on the head. I usually use evaluative metering, which works quite well.
