    Default Eastern Bluebird

Taken out of my office window. The window was dirty but I am pretty happy with the turnout.

You did well shooting through the window. The light was well off to your left and behind the bird, which did render the front of the bird in the shade.

You might have tried a version with a bit more positive exposure compensation. It would have burned the whites on the rear, but would have given the front of the bird a bit more snap.

The man made perch generally isn't too flattering.

I agree, pretty good for a window image! These are great birds. I like the colours of the image and the BG is nice an plain so does not distract from the subject (although you seem to have severe vignetting here- notice the dark corners). I think a contrast boost would help and the eye could be lightened a bit.

I added the vignette in PP to take away from the fact that it was a dirty window and on a signpost :)

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still learning a lot about Lightroom, PSE, and DPP. The changes you can make to a single RAW file are endless. My biggest issue is proper sharpening.
