    Here's a new image from my Acorn Woodpecker project. Gaining familiarity with this local colony and its habits is beginning to pay off.

    Comments and suggestions welcome.

    Well, I like the action, the placement of the bird and the EXP.
    But the bird is nor sharp.
    With the 1d3 you could have comfortably gone to ISO 800 increasing the s/s and why not, f/10 may have been even better.
    You got the colony, try once more :)

    Hey Craig,
    Could be the crop affecting the apparent sharpness too. I like the pose and morsel....as presented I would eliminate the area to the left of the tree and just crop at the mossy area. I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you push the mark 3 to either 640 or 800......nice luxury to have!
