    Default Barred Owl stopped bye

Got this brave little guy this year. Shot with the 500f4 on Canon MkIV at 1/1250, f6.3 at ISO 400, handheld.

    Thanks for looking ...

    Bill

Hi Bill, I like the wing spread and the resulting view. The stare of the owl helps introduce a story in my opinion. I also like that there is just enough detail in the background to give us an hint of habitat. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Phil's comments, I also think that some additional room at the bottom would be nice.

Really nice timing to catch the hunting look and nice wing position. I also think a bit more room on bottom and perhaps may be nice. Dave

Very nice shot, full wing span and complementary BG, well done.

    Hey Bill,
I love the wing position and look. I'm OK with the BG but may prefer a bit more blur to it. I'm OK with the tight pano crop (go figure!) as for me it accentuates the wings.
