    Taken on my just completed tour of Tanzania. I knew we would have plenty of opportunities with the animals....but the birds was a nice bonus!
    Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800 hand held (elbow resting on roof of truck) at ISO 800 and f8 for 1/4000 sec.

    Hi Roman, This is nice. Great view of the top side of the wings. The tail spread is also pleasing. I like the head angle and the catch-light in the eye. Your exposure looks good to me and the details appear sharp to me. Thanks for sharing.

    I love the composition and the sharp subject. The colors of the tail (red) are nice offset for the black and white of the bird's body. Never seen this species before so that is a bonus for me as well.

    I just wished it had a different background; the blue of the sky does not work for me for some reason (not that you really had a choice!)

    Awesome bird and capture Roman. I like the blue BG and the detail in the bird is very nice.

    A spectacular capture Roman, great detail and flight angle displaying the distinctive chestnut tail nicely. As previously said, great head angle and nice catchlight. It's a keeper!

    Like the wing position, fanned tail and pose, well done, might sharpen up the fine feathers a bit more.
