hey denise, wished there were some more canvas below the bird and more definition in the eye. i really like the dark blue bg against the white bird!

F/32 gave you nice texture in the water. I'd crop this into a pano, off the top and sharpen the eye some more.

Nice work, Denise. :) Beautiful pose and sense of motion. I agree with Harold and Fabs on the eye. Regarding the comp, I'd take some off the top and add some more canvas on the bottom.

Thanks folks for the feedback. The eye I used was really sharp so I tried to make it look more like it belonged but will re-do it and give it a sharper eye. Thanks!!:)

I love the framing as is. And the white on blue colors. A bit sharper on the eye or maybe a lot sharper would work. Thanks again for your creative blur inspiration on the IPT.

Hi Denise for these you can have a naturally sharp eye even at slower speeds, I think it gives the image a better sense of motion. Also this image just a millisecond later would have had the water splashing behind enhancing it even more. Space wise would like seeing more negative space in front of the bird !!! Big fan of blurs and you have a good one, great whites and love that blue water !!!
