This Great Egret stood here for awhile, balanced on the rock---not fishing, just looking out. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Like it a lot Katie. Nice BG and I like the blades of grass in the water. Feels a little tight on the top??

I like it, particularly the perch. Does seem a bit tight all around.

Thank you, Jackie, Al and Wendell. Yep, I agree that it's a little tight...this time I had too much glass:D not that I'm complaining.

I am only a novice myself but think this is a very nice shot Katie. Exposure looks spot on to me, I like the little perch very much and also that small wispy feather protruding from the back.

I like this very much. I wonder if it's possible to get a little more detail visible around the front toes by slightly lightening that area?
