I like the exposure control, look-back pose and sharpness. Would a lower angle have been possible?

it wasn't possible at all Axel. i had thought of but then again i was at the edge of the drainage from where the entire city's waste was flowing in. could have gone in if that was plain water canal :(

Looks good Mital! Excellent exposure, and I like the dark blue tones in the water. As mentioned a lower angle would have made this even stronger...but I do see it was not possible at this location. I would probably remove the longish dark thin line behind the head, and the second one that then goes to the edge.

Really nice shot of this gull.
I was lucky to see one in Bangkok in '08 but it was not close like this one.
It all looks good to me.
