    Stonechat

Taken last year towards the end of the day in lovely winter sunlight the background is a sandbank with sedge grasses growing on it a small twig has been removed from the bottom right-hand corner.

Nice details and excellent BG, I would convert this to a vertical crop to avoid too much empty space. Nicely done.

Nice image. I like the details. I find the perch interesting too. I would reduce the colour temperature a bit. Thanks for sharing.

Although a vertical would work quite well, I do like this comp as presented too. Two versions could be made;). First thing I noticed though is that the pupil could be rendered darker, for a bigger impact on the eye. A bit of debris on the bill could also be taken care of. Love the perch!!

This is utterly delightful and has the virtue of simplicity. Picture perfect except for being a little on the warm side for my taste.

The bird is a stonechat (one word) but I am sure that was a little oversight ;)

Simple and beautiful. Love the colors and comp. I personally think that the eye is a little dark, but that may be my monitor which is uncalibrated.
