Cloudy Day Fun
While Denise was helping out with the recently concluded SW FLA IPT she was a big blur inspiration to all (including me) on a cloudy morning at Estero Lagoon. This image was created with the handheld 70-200mm f/4L IS lens and the EOS-1D MIV. ISO 200. Evaluative metering +1 stop set manually: 1/30 sec at f/7.1.
I added a bit of canvas right but still wish that I had lots more room in front of the egret...

I agree about having more room in front of the Egret. The Woodstork looks amazing, I love the raised foot. Beautifully done:)

Beautiful composition, Artie. I love the interaction with raised foot - one landing other taking off. Nice contrast in the bg wave.

I might add a little more to the bottom as well, to give the stork a landing space extension, in case he misses the frame! ;)
Excellent interaction, Artie, and the amount of blur looks perfect. :) Love the pose of the stork. Personally I might crop a bit off the top.
I am not a huge blur fan, esp when eyes aren't in focus, but I love the feeling that this stork is giving the egret a kick in the pants with this pink foot.
Interaction does it for me, don't see many blur interactions !!! ... love the pink in the wings !!!
