One from last Summer that I just recently processed. The setting sun shot a few beams through the trees and she seemed to be enjoying the last warm rays. Intentionally darkened the BG, removed a few brighter spots but didn't want to take it completely black. 40D, 400DO + 2xTC, f9, 1/800s, ISO 1600, -1 2/3 EC, tripod, MLU, cable release, full frame.

Interesting idea, I like the strong sidelight and sharpness and only wish we could see the pupil of the right eye.

Sorry I missed ts one, I love the provocative light and the chiaroscuro mood. I
d also like to see the pupil but not an image killer for me. The mood makes up for it.

Thanks for the comments. Hard to tell from this size but the pupil is slightly visible under the shadow of the eyelid.

    Fabs,
Thanks for giving me something to Google (chiaroscuro), had to look that one up and its always good to learn something new :).
