Surely a killer bird and surely great detail but I would loved to have seen this created in a bit softer light and with the camera pointed quite a bit to the right so that the eye had been in the upper left thirds position :) I hope to get up for a visit next week.

You got great details in the whites, Mike. The colors are gorgeous and sharpness looks good. I would raher not see the eye so centered but good thinking on photographing this bird in a different way.
