    Default Introduction

Hi all! I am new to your forum. I am Gail Miller and I live in central Arkansas. My interest in photography began in 1972. A bit over 4 years ago I switched to digital and the last few years I began to concentrate on nature photography as a stress relief from work. I shoot a Canon 40D (though I'm interested in bumping up to a higher end Canon body). I use the Canon 300mm f/2.8 and the Canon 500mm f/4 with a Gitzo tripod, Wimberly mount, bean bags and skimmer pod. My galleries are best viewed from the bottom up as I increase my skills. Several of my photos are featured in the current Arkansas Audubon Society brochure, to include the cover shot of one of my Painted Bunting photos. I joined your forum to learn more and to also study the different camera body reviews. I admit that my processing skills can stand some improvement, but I will continue to learn.
