I like this shot a lot. Nice detail... good capture of a nice behavioral moment. Technically there might need to be a bit more room beneath the bird for the bird's virtual feet. Nice job.
Hi Don - a little more space at the bottom for the virtual feet would be good.
like the action - the head/eye/ neck area appear a little soft some additional sharpening may help here - maybe the focus point was not there??
Sweet light.
Looking forward to seeing more :)
Wow, that's some snail?!! I like the action and would wish for a little more head turn towards you. I'm planning to be at Gatorland mid-March, first time and eager to see it.
Thks Katie, i've been waiting for the "HA"... i agree, i just couldn't get that dang bird to cooperate! :D
Hi Don, image needs a tad more space at the bottom for the feet and it looks like the focus is on the body not the head. I hate to be on patrol for HA but when it is off this bad I personally would not keep the image (I deleted about 90% of the images I shot of this Limpkin for bad HA, Also he was digging up fresh water clams not snails:)
