    Default High ISO Fish Crow

    Attached Images Attached Images

Experimenting a bit with auto ISO sensitivity.
    This was taken at ISO2000
Did NR in the BG, and part of the bird
    selectively.

This is a Fish Crow, uncommon in MA (ID by "quacking" call).
There are few small groups of these birds
in the Boston area, mostly around
    supermarkets and parking lots.
Other than call, they are very hard to
distinguish from the common American Crow.

CC appreciated, especially on noise and sharpness.

Very nice head turn and it looks pretty clean to me, for sure because you went right on your EXP. Putting back some black in the bird may make it mire attractive.
    Cheers!

Sharpness looks good and I like the head turn.

The bird itself looks a bit too high gamma wise and I agree with Fabs that some black addition would help.

I might burn the perch a bit to tone it down.

Exposure and detail are both very good, like the head turn. did wish for a better perch!
NR is good but I can tell NR has been applied to the head, if you used Adobe SW fr conversion I recommend trying Nikon Capture NX2, does a great job with NR, clean and no water-color look

Great clean BG. Good pose and eye contact. May be a bit more contrast?
