    This little guy was coming out of the ocean just as we disembarked on Half Moon Island (South Shetland Islands, Antarctica). Thanks in advance for your C & C!

    Adorable creature with a very nice pose. Not sure if it as possible for you to get a lower angle, which would have certainly improve. Very nice EXP control. I like the rocks in the ground.Congrats!

    Agree with Fabs about angle, very nice exp. great bird,
    the ground stones add to the image too. I like the BW feel.

    Oh I remember these opportunities so well! You almost have to be there to appreciate the transformation from a water bird to a land bird. I really like this image Verena. It's got action with the water droplets flying off the bird and the sharpness is great, which is a challenge because you never know where these birds will appear from the water. For fun I might try a slightly different crop with a little off the right, away from where the bird is looking. Anyway, great to see!!!
