    Default Painted Bunting

    One of my nemesis birds.
This time I dedicated two days during I waited between 35-90 minutes several times a day and something went wrong every time. On top of it, I always had only one or two seconds to shoot.
I guess Murphy was with me (not Alan but the legendary one) and goofed up my settings a few times.
I still could not figure it out as to how the ISO setting got switched from 400 to 800 on its own.
Well I'm still happy with the shots.
Taken at Corkscew Swamp bardwalk, Florida.

Congratulations Karl on finally getting your nemesis, I still don't have a shot of one myself. I like your composition with the foliage on the right and the bird to the left, balances nicely. The yellow spot and brightness is just a shade distracting on the foliage in upper right as it takes my attention away from that colorful little bird. Apart from that, I love it!

beautiful image Karl., I would suggest a verticle if you do not have more room to the left.

Very nice find, head angle and eye contact. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame and find the 'jewelry' a bit distracting.
