The last of this series, unfortunately I left the version I intended to post in SA, this is a download from my website.
Certainly taken in North Svalbard, and certainly with a Canon EOS 1D MkIII
500mm F 4 hand held from MV Svalbard

Ken,
Superb image! The pose, interested gaze and background put it above other images. And, I like the cool tones in this one as well.
Best,
Chas
wow this is really wonderful...the stand up pose of the bear steals the show :) water dripping adds to the image !!
Hi Ken, it needs a bit more punch I think, I refrained from posting my one:p.
Also the pack ice is showing a tad too much magenta in the foreground, easy to correct and it would help things overall;) It certainly was a good trip, I just love these bears.:)

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Beautiful image Ken. Perfect timing.
Very well done. Position of bears in frame is perfect. Nice detail in the fur. Agree with cast in ice and as Steve mentioned an easy fix. TFS
Todd
excellent image for all reasons mentioned above
