    Certainly taken in North Svalbard, and certainly with a Canon EOS 1D MkIII
    500mm F 4 hand held from MV Svalbard

    Ken,

    Superb image! The pose, interested gaze and background put it above other images. And, I like the cool tones in this one as well.

    wow this is really wonderful...the stand up pose of the bear steals the show :) water dripping adds to the image !!

    Hi Ken, it needs a bit more punch I think, I refrained from posting my one:p.

    Also the pack ice is showing a tad too much magenta in the foreground, easy to correct and it would help things overall;) It certainly was a good trip, I just love these bears.:)

    Very well done. Position of bears in frame is perfect. Nice detail in the fur. Agree with cast in ice and as Steve mentioned an easy fix. TFS
