    Took last weekend, This honker was acting tuff. working on envriomental shots, its the biologist in me; looking for sweet spot on lens-- trying suggestions from Bill Dix. Thanks Bill
    D2x's, 80-400mm vr at 330mm iso 400 f/7.1 at 1/750 sec. EV .33 matrix metering, wb cloudy, hand held. comments and suggestions welcome.

    Hi Craig - Looking good - Good HA and eye contact, exposure looks good and sharp - like the included habitat - though the OOF reeds coming out of the birds back area are a little distracting.
    Might crop a little off the top :)

    Love the captured behavior Craig For those all you can do is follow the bird and keep snapping for the best bird/bg combo .... and I probably could not resist going down to the ground for an extra smooth looking one also :)

    ... good tech settings and sure like being able to see the eye, a must on these birds !!!
