Hey Troy, Well done and Ditto Kiran especially on the underwing detail. The bird almost looks as if it is too close to the perch to land and that its talons are not extended enough. Is this right out of the camera as far as the arrangement of the elements in the image?

Thank you for stopping by, it is an honor.
Yes, the shot was right out of the camera. Here is another similar shot, http://www.flickr.com/photos/troylim/4234914179/

Same feeling for me! The approach is looking very strange ! It remember those japanese monsters in Ultraman flying when I was young...

The details are awesome!!! POV, WB, focus are perfectly managed!

    A great picture!!!

    Thanks for sharing, Troy!

Having photographed at this location numerous times, I can vouch for this being an authentic shot. For some reason when the eagles come in from his particular direction, then come in lower and then rise up sharply to land. No idea why, but it is a joy to watch and photograph.

Troy, you did a bang up job on this photograph!

    Marina,
Thank you. The chicks died, did not survive the cold few weeks ago. I have not been out for a few weeks, planning on it this weekend.
