Taken at Wakodahatchee Wetlands this Jan. Spent half the morning chasing this shot as he was pulling these tiny fish up and flipping them in the air. 2 seconds from the time he pops up till the fish is gone. Captured only 1 good sequence at 10fps with the Canon Mark 3 tripod mounted with Wimberly head and the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 536mm. ISO 800 at f9 and 1/1000th of a sec. Minor bottom crop and right.
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated,

Excellent timing Roman !!!! Got a smoking full breeding plumage bird Well composed and exposed Great seeing the fish in midair !!! Wish the one big leaf on back of the bird was not merging with neck !!! Excellent image !!!
Roman, this is a beauty. The fish flip combined with such a great breeding plumage female Anhinga is outstanding! The soft lighting here works well too. Wonderful work.
