    Saved the whites Katie. Has a serene feel to the image and I like the OOF reeds on the left to balance the comp. Wonder if I would warm it up a bit??

    Very nice perspective. I like this sort of head on composition.

    Love it Katie Sharp, well framed and exposed Particularly like the bottom grasses, makes the image special for me !!

    Hope you won't get hung up on hand holding the big lens, personally would stick on a tripod except when there is no choice. Will have far better results overall even when doing flight.

    Hi Katie - As I opened your image and scrolled down, I said "Wow!!" For me this composition is stunning. Exposure looks terrific and I like the bg.

    Al wrote "Hope you won't get hung up on hand holding the big lens ....." - - - plus if you keep carrying all this weight, you'll have super fit arms and have to start weight training on the rest of the body to keep things in balance :D :D :D
