You caught a nice pose for the little guy, Allen. Good eye contact. I'm a novice with fill flash, so I can't comment on that.:)

Allan, a great looking subject in a classic pose makes this a good shot but it looks a little dark to me. The eye is too close to the center for my tastes but I guess that not so bad with a square crop.

I'm on my work monitor but it does feel a slight bit dark to me. And, yes, the eye is more "centered" but what else could you do? The hands and feet certainly determine the frame placement here and I think you did a good job of finding what "works." Love that you caught a catchlight in the upper corner of his eye. Nice!

Hey Allen, I like the pose and a great looking mug, being a full depth of field kind of guy, I would have liked to seen more details in the background. Not to say it doesn'r work as is, just my personal taste.

I like the pose, but am not too keen on square crops personally. Nice eye contact and good details.

Love the pose, the splayed toes, and the head turn, Allen. I agree that the whole image looks a bit dark to me and maybe a little more saturation would pop the greens. If this was mine, I would clone a lot of the flash-generated specular highlights and the second catchlight. I think you have the makings of a winner here. :)
