I will be heading off for a quick-fire trip to the Sabi-Sands and Kruger Park for a couple of days. Hopefully I'll get a chance to bolster my nearly non-existent collection of leopard images.
One last post for the week - this shot was taken in Northern Kruger over December. This yellow-billed kite put on quite a display preening in the morning light - it just never bothered to take off from that perch! I must've sat there for a good 25 minutes waiting for it to fly away in a decent direction (preferable diagonally towards my lens).
All comments most welcome. I will be back next week, hopefully with something new to share (that being said I haven't even really begun processing my files from this particular trip).

One of the nicer preening images I've seen, Morkel. Good exposure and sharpness, nice head angle, as well as good comp and background. Well done. Good luck on your trip!
Great pose, Morkel. A bit more saturation perhaps, it appears more grayish than brown, but it could be my monitor. Enjoy the trip, I'm green! Hope you get your spotted cat!
