    I like the soft light, angle, raised crest, sharpness and BG. I would lighten the eye a bit and maybe increase contrast a few points.

    Great capture of her Dave, with the raised crest and slightly open beak. The background is a lovely compliment to her coloring. Agree with Axel about the eye work.

    Awesome colouration on this beautiful lady!! Quite the crest display. Great background and a perfect perch. Lightening the eye is a good suggestion, and I would perhaps raise the colour temp a bit (but masking off the yellows and reds first).

    While I like the soft light, colors and sharpness, the composition seems out of balance to me. I might try giving it some more room on the left and cropping it a hair tighter on the right. I might also crop it a bit tighter on the bottom and make a bit more of a pano out of it.

    Last thing I'd try if it were mint would be to add some contrast to the perch.
