    I took this picture on a whale watching boat off of Gloucester, MA last year. We had a very cooperative whale, breached 5 times. All comments welcome.

    Great leap well captured Todd. good exposure with the resulting spray enhancing nicely. It's not easy to capture these guys doing aerials, so well done.

    Lovely action. Was it induced to breach or do they breach on their own. Would love to watch it someday. Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful, I have to confess that in 2009, I never visited Hermanus, 60 miles away one of the best on shore Whale Watching places in the world! Am I mad, no these type of shots are very rarely available!

    this is a super shot Todd! great timing and details. If I had to be nit-picking I would say I wish the horizon didn't "cut through" the whale but I won't ;)
