    After many trips to Estero lagoon I was able to see and photograph this Avocet for the first time last Thursday.

    Like the raised foot, the sharpness, and the green BKGR. The camera needed to be pointed down a bit to leave room for the virtual feet.....This bird, with its straight bill, is the male. My group photographed the female this morning. :)

    Loved the natural light and the contrast. Excellent job with exposure. Nice pose too. Only wish is a little more room below.
