    Hey,

    Got this shot this fall.

I had been told there were coyotes living in this cemetery in nearby Cambridge, MA that's popular with birders.

It was a Saturday morning. Rain was in the forecast, so it kept the birders away. But in reality the rain had stopped. The cemetery opens at 7am, and I was the first one there. I knew the coyotes would mostly be active at dusk and dawn.

So the conditions were ideal to see one of these people-weary coyotes, a "perfect storm" of just the right conditions. But with all that, add one more: I got soooo lucky that morning.:D

Uhh except for the light. Cranked up the iso to 1600.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Happy shooting!

They are wary critters and you are lucky to have gotten this shot. It could use more contrast and sharpness. I also would like a bit of room to the left.

Sean, I like the colours, the low angle and the special setting in the graveyard. Unfortunately the high iso setting makes it look a bit noisy and soft. The square crop does not suit this image well, a bit more room on the left would indeed be an improvement, but you probably had obstacles there of which a small part is still visible (I would clone that white spot out). I would say go back again and try if you can make better images, the subject and location are worth it!
