"Hi all, I'm back home after an exhausting 4 weeks when the girls were discharged - firstTeagan and 6 days later, Kaylin after a 2nd blood transfusion. Needless to say Gran pulled the 2 a.m. feed shift while Mom and Dad slept blissfully in a Fool's Paradise!! I'm sitting here with a ... (please forgive me) smirk all over my face after a frantic phone call from my daughter saying "no- one told us the nights are a nightmare!!!:D
Shelley asked me to post the photo from the 1st pro shoot with the following message. ( Kaylin on left and Teagan on right)
"We have been through an absolutely harrowing past 3 mths with plenty of ups, downs, tears and joy; yet in one of my really down moments, my Mom opened her post in BPN asking for prayers for our girls and told me to read the replies.
It was unbelievable and filled me with such warmth and strength to know that "strangers" all over the world cared so much to send messages of hope and prayers for Kaylin and Teagan. The girls are now "full term" , actually 1 week over or 11 weeks old and Kaylin weighs 4.220 kgs and Teagie 4.020kgs; They are doing well and I would like to share our family with all the new friends on BPN. It really is a caring and amazing site.
I also want to thank my Mom for all the time and help.........Mom. we love you!
Jeni, that is WONDERFUL news!!! They are such beautiful little girls but I bet you'll be happy to skip that 2 a.m. feeding now! You really put a smile on my face today - thanks!!!:D
Always overjoyed to hear when prayers are answered! Your children are adorable and the four of you make a lovely family! May the wind always be at your backs!

Shelley and Guy, always remember it is God's gift with lots of responsibility, so care well for them. As to midnight PJ parade, it is hard now, but the fantastic the fun and joy of the twins when they are a little older, are immeasurable.
As to grandma Jeni, you have the envious (some will say dubious) task of spoiling them rotten whenever you see them only to give them back to their parents so that they can go play "ball" with their parents souls.:D
