    took this during the GTG last weekend. i had to add some canvas down below. the bird took up all of the right side of the frame. desaturated it and went high key for a little different look.

    D300, 300 f/4 at f/5.6, 1/2000s, ISO 640, +1.7EV. wished i had been at +2.3EV. i think it would have been better. also wished there was a little more eye.

    Harold I like the image, I think if you had dialed in more exposure you would have had more detail in the blacks. But I like the black and white together and the action in the frame. Just curious what is making the one wing-tip at the top white???

    hi mr H - do like the pose a little more detail in the blacks for my personal tastes.

    However, I do like the angle of capture.
