Hi everyone, here's a lioness yawning in Etosha National Park, Namibia taken last summer. I cropped a little from the top and the right side. I was trying to get some of the grasses in focus too so I added a bit more depth of field.

Like the light and the surrounding. Looks like it could be just a little lighter and perhaps a touch of contrast.

I like the feeling of camouflage you're getting with the tonal range being similar with lion and grass, however I feel the overall effect is 'muddy'. Therefore, I would agree with Dan that a bit more contrast would be an advantage.

Here it is going a little lighter and then adding a bit of a curves adjustment. Thanks for your comments

Well timed to capture the yawn, and your repost looks good. Lovely behavioural image Nate.

I like the comp you chose. Repost improves it. Would personally like a little clearer view of the bottom teeth. Anybody else unexpectedly yawn when they viewed this :D?
