After previous day's light snow, I had been with my friend to the river Doubs in the north-western part of Switzerland. While she was shooting her pictures, I asked her to pose for a brief moment.
Ideally I would have wanted her positioned slightly lower in the frame but the rock in front of her had lot of smooth ice on it & was pretty dangerous to step on.

    Nikon D300 + Nikkor 12-24mm + B+W CPL,
f/22 and manual blend from 3 exposures around 0.6secs

    Views welcome :)

Lovely scene with great light. I like the SS you chose and how the line of the stream guides my eye through the image. I wonder if it is a bit too saturated?

Hi Kaushik, The composition is well handled along with placement of the subject. I like the large rock as a foreground along with the detail in the water. The image does look a bit oversaturated...

Love the SS effect on the water. The composition is nice. Agree with the over-saturation but nice job.

I was also in two minds regarding saturation during PP.
    Thank you for the feedback.

    Kaushik,

I would agree with the comments on the saturation. Image also looks a bit dark to me. I like the composition with the river as a leading line and the addition of the person adds a nice touch for scale and feel.

some wonderful colours in here and an engaging composition...
I think the slight desaturation will lift this image to another level
